I know he will attack his rehabilitation just like he does everything else and will be back when he's ready."
There is no official diagnosis of how much time that Ryan, heading into his junior season, will miss due to the injury. Torn ACLs typically take a year to heal. Still, you have to think the odds of Ryan seeing the field in 2013 are not good.
Which is not only terrible for Ryan but bad news for the Michigan defense in general. Ryan led the Wolverines with 88 tackles last season with 16 tackles for loss, 4 1/2 sacks and four forced fumbles.
