North Carolina football fans have been teased with the promise of new uniforms for the 2013 season, Larry Fedora's second in Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels will play their Blue-White spring game on Saturday with the same uniform that they wore in 2012, but the school revealed the mock-ups of the 2013 design outside Kenan Stadium. The fans in attendance will get to see select players in the new threads during a presentation at halftime of the spring game.

Jason Freeman, the assistant equipment manager for the Tar Heels, posted a picture of the mock-ups on Twitter. North Carolina began incorporating navy into its uniform scheme in the last years under Butch Davis, but the 2013 uniforms are a drastic departure from the classic look.
