It's only April, the college football season is still five months away, but it's never too early for rivals to begin the taunting and stir the pot. While the first snaps of fall football are five months away, I'm not sure what the calendar is for vandalism season. I think it's the opposite of wearing white in that you're only supposed to do it after Labor Day, but don't take my word for it.
Anyway, whether it's vandalism season or not, there is vandalism afoot in Columbia, S.C. Gamecocks staffers showed up to work Wednesday morning to find that somebody had painted a Clemson paw print on the field at Williams-Brice Stadium and on one of South Carolina's Cockabooses.
Now, I could argue that if you have a train caboose and name it Cockaboose, you deserve whatever is coming to you, but I won't.

You know, when you consider that South Carolina has won the last four meetings in this series, Clemson probably doesn't need to stoke the fire at this point.
