It was announced this week that the Chick-fil-A Bowl would be one of the six bowls featured in the College Football Playoff rotation following the 2014 season, but that's not the only change that will be taking place with the Atlanta bowl game.

ESPN.com's Brett McMurphy reports that the bowl will be changing its name as well.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl used to be known as the Peach Bowl, but now it's going to be known as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Now, before you freak out, this does not mean Chick-fil-A will be replacing its chicken sandwiches with peach sandwiches, though I'm sure it will continue to sell peach milkshakes during the summer.

Now, as a bowl game hipster, I'm happy that the Peach Bowl is returning to our college football world, though I would prefer it was the Peach Bowl presented by Chick-fil-A or something of that nature. Though, honestly, I've never stopped calling it the Peach Bowl to begin with, so I don't see why I'll change now.

Anyway, the Peach Bowl Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl joines the Fiesta, Sugar, Orange, Rose and Cotton Bowls as semi-final sites. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will host its first semi-final game on December 31, 2016.
