Notre Dame DT Louis Nix responds to Brady Hoke's comments

Notre Dame defensive tackle Louis Nix does not appreciate Brady Hoke's comments about Notre Dame "chickening out" of its series with Michigan.

Hoke made the comment while speaking to a group of people in Grand Rapids, Mich., over the weekend when he began talking about Michigan's rivals. His comments were in response to Notre Dame cancelling its series with Michigan following the 2014 season.

"We are fortunate to have unbelievable rivalry games at Michigan," Hoke said. "The Notre Dame game, that rivalry, which they're chickening out of. They're still going to play Michigan State, they're going to play Purdue, but they don't want to play Michigan. I don't know how they made that decision."

Nix took to Twitter on Tuesday to respond to Hoke's comments.


It's an interesting hashtag, for sure, though it is a bit repetitive. I'm pretty sure that all kinds of chicken are meat.

Anyway, it's nice to see that there's no love lost between both of these schools, which just makes it that much sadder that their relationship seems to be coming to an end.
