Arkansas and Texas Tech will renew their old Southwest Conference rivalry with a home-and-home series scheduled for 2014 and 2015, the schools announced on Wednesday.

The Razorbacks will travel to Lubbock on Sept. 13, 2014, for the first meeting of the two teams since 1991. The Red Raiders will return the favor by heading to Fayetteville on Sept. 19, 2015.

Arkansas leads the all-time series 28-7, including a 15-2 edge in Lubbock and a 6-2 mark in Fayetteville.

With the College Football Playoff on the horizon, both teams cited the need to improve their overall strength of schedule as a prime motivator behind this move.
