Arizona wide receiver Tyler Slavin, best known for catching the winning touchdown pass in last year's New Mexico Bowl, has left the team, a school spokesperson told the Arizona Daily Star on Sunday.

Slavin announced his departure via Twitter and he is already off the official Arizona online roster. The junior caught 22 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown last season. He appeared in 31 games in three seasons for the Wildcats.

There's no word yet on if he plans to transfer. With his departure, Arizona will now be without three of its top six pass catchers from last season.
