Doak Walker Award Watch List: Ka'Deem Carey headlines group

The annual award watch list onslaught continued Thursday as the Doak Walker Award watch list was released.

The award is presented annually to the nation's top college running back. Last year, Wisconsin's Montee Ball won the honor.

The 2013 field of candidates is highlighted by University of Arizona running back Ka'Deem Carey, who led the nation with 1,929 rushing yards last season. Other nominees include 2012 Doak Walker Award semifinalists David Fluellen of Toledo and Venric Mark of Northwestern.

Nominations for the award will be accepted through October. The complete list of candidates is as follows:
