Big Ten announces third annual 'Players to Watch' list

By Chip Patterson | College Writer

You may have thought that watch list season was over, but that would be ignoring the Big Ten's third annual preseason Players to Watch list, released by the league on Wednesday.

The list is selected by a media panel and includes five student-athletes from both the Legends Division and Leaders Divisions. Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller was a unanimous selection to the list, joining Bradley Roby and Ryan Shazier on the Buckeye-friendly Leaders Division list. Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson and Wisconsin linebacker Chris Borland, who was also named to this list in 2012, round out the division.

Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan was also named to this list for the second straight year, and he is joined by fellow Wolverine quarterback Devin Gardner on the 2013 list.

Check out the complete list of the Big Ten preseason Players to Watch list below.
