Texas A&M opened fall camp on Monday, but the Aggies' media availability was filled with questions about the status of Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel.

According to an ESPN report, the NCAA is investigating whether Manziel had received a five-figure compensation from a broker for signing autographs and assorted memorabilia. Such a violation of NCAA rules would affect Manziel's eligibility and possibly the Aggies' season if the quarterback participates in any contests and is later ruled ineligible.

Coach Kevin Sumlin opened his address to the media by saying the university is doing its "due diligence" regarding the allegations and that at this time he didn't foresee Manziel getting any less action in fall camp or losing his position as the Aggies' starter.

Thanks to Sports Radio 1150 The Zone, you can listen to all of Sumlin's comments from media day on Monday.

Check out parts 2 and 3 below, which include the rest of the question-and-answer portion from Monday's availability.
