Minnesota coach Jerry Kill said that wide receiver Andre McDonald will no longer be participating in fall camp with the rest of the team after violating team rules.

"We have a team policy that you have to follow," Kill told the Pioneer Press. "Right now, he's not able to practice. That's where we're at right now. He's not going to be practicing the rest of camp."

While Kill would not give specifics on why McDonald would no longer be practicing, it certainly isn't the first time the receiver has found himself in the coach's dog house. McDonald was suspended for Minnesota's Texas Bowl appearance and he also missed spring practice while dealing with "personal issues."

He was reinstated to the team in June and had been working with the second-team offense during fall camp.

McDonald's absence is another blow to Minnesota's depth chart at receiver as earlier this summer Devin Crawford-Tufts left the team to focus on his track career.

McDonald caught 10 passes for 121 yards as a freshman in 2012.
