Every Sunday, Tom Fornelli and I sit down to review the weekend that was in college football for the Rewind edition of the Eye On College Football Podcast.

We begin with a review of the late games on Saturday -- affectionately called the "hangover" portion of the podcast. We touch on Sonny Dykes' new up-tempo attack at Cal and a revived Washington team that looked dangerous in dismantling Boise State.

From there we reverse to Thursday night to discuss South Carolina and the 2013 debut of Jadeveon Clowney. Are the conditioning criticisms valid? Tom and I look at the things we learned from the SEC contenders in week one and reset the pecking order in preparation for Saturday's Georgia-South Carolina showdown.

As always, we try and deliver a combination of what you saw and what you might have missed. If you have questions/comments for the Rewind you can submit them on Saturdays on Twitter to @Chip_Patterson or @TomFornelli. Use the hashtag #rewind so we'll know to save it for Sunday's recording.

[NOTE: Apologies to Louisville, Ohio, Colorado, Colorado State, Florida State and Pittsburgh, but you wanted to get on TV and we need to stay on schedule.]
