Better catch? UNC TE Eric Ebron or Toledo WR Alonzo Russell

By Chip Patterson | College Football/Basketball Writer

Saturday's early games may be lacking in Top 25 action, but there has been no shortage of entertainment. Ohio State and Louisville are testing scoreboard capabilities, rain has shown up to be the ultimate equalizer in several games and there have been two impressive touchdown catches.

North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron got off to a fast start in the first half, hauling in his first touchdown catch of the season with a one-armed grab while breaking inside.

But was it better than the jump ball pulled down by Toledo wide receiver Alonzo Russell? Russell had to use one arm to make the catch, due to some physical play from the Central Michigan cornerback.

Keep up with all the top action from Saturday with our Top 25 Scoreboard.
