Miami's Stephen Morris calls South Florida a 'dirty team'

On Saturday Miami took care of in-state rival South Florida 49-21 with quarterback Stephen Morris throwing for 222 yards and two touchdowns, so you'd think Morris would have been happy following the game. Well, he wasn't.

It's not that Morris was unhappy with the way his team performed, but instead he did not appreciate the tactics he claims South Florida used. Morris was asked after the game why he motioned to the bench during the second quarter to leave the game, and he said it was because the Bulls were playing dirty.

"South Florida is a dirty team to say the least," Morris told the Miami Herald. "I don't know man. When your down under [the pile] and everybody is on top they're going to try and go for your ankles and everything. We were already up three, four touchdowns so I was like there ain't no point for me to try to mess with these guys. They're dirty. It is what is. I wanted to score 70 points on them. They disrespected us. I had no respect for them at all. At that point I felt like we should just keep pushing it, keep killing them."

Morris would not go into specifics of what it was South Florida was doing, instead just saying it was "dumb stuff." Morris came into the game with a bad ankle and implied that the Bulls were going after it.

"They obviously got the injury report," said Morris.
