All-American wide receiver Marqise Lee had to be helped off the field by his teammates after injuring his left knee in the Trojans 62-41 loss to Arizona State. Lee was tackled by multiple Sun Devils on a fourth quarter punt return and saw his left leg bend awkwardly.
Lee was attended by trainers on the sidelines and eventually carted off the sidelines.
Lane Kiffin said afterward he did not know the extent of the injury. Lee's status will be updated after an evaluation in Los Angeles.
"Obviously, it didn't look very good," Kiffin said postgame, per the Associated Press. "It didn't sound very good or look very good, so that's all I got for you."
Earlier in the game, Lee had become USC's all-time leader with 3,249 career receiving yards. He finished the game with 7 catches for 92 yards.
