PHOTO: New Mexico State to wear pink jerseys vs. Rice

New Mexico State 's "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" cancer research fund-raiser has been going on since 2007 and has -- awesomely -- raised more than $2.8 million. But it's a good bet it might get more attention in 2013 than it ever has before.

Why? Because the Aggie football program is going all-out in support of the cause, wearing pink uniforms for their Oct. 19 home clash against Rice, designated the "Pink Game." A BleedCrimson.net photo shared by the NMSU Facebook page shows off the new look:

The Aggies are having a rough season on the field, starting 0-6 in their lone season as an independent before joining the Sun Belt in 2014. But they'll leave the field against Rice with a metric ton of our respect regardless of the result.
