The first BCS standings have been released, so who better to join the Eye On College Football Podcast than BCS expert Jerry Palm?

We hit a variety of topics in the course of our 30-minute conversation, ranging from changes in the BCS computer formula to the shake up in the SEC East. While the upsets of the past two weeks have made for entertaining viewing, Jerry points out that the SEC may face an uphill climb to get two teams into BCS bowls this year.

We also discuss the curious case of Ohio State, and a fan base that already feels slighted with 5-6 games left on the schedule. While they sit behind Alabama, Florida State and Oregon right now, the BCS picture actually sets up well for the Buckeyes if they can remain undefeated under Urban Meyer.

Stick around for a quick look at the biggest Week 9 games, with BCS implications and super-early predictions.
