Washington wide receiver Kasen Williams suffered a foot injury in the win against Cal that could hold out the junior starter for the rest of the 2013 season.

Williams went up for a jump ball from Keith Price in the second quarter, landing awkwardly and eventually carted off the field with his leg in an air cast. Elise Woodward, the sideline reporter for Washignton's radio team, reported that Williams may have a Lisfranc foot injury. Sarkisian was not specific in describing the injury in his postgame comments, but the result is the same; Williams will be out for a while.

"We know there's a break and a dislocation in his foot," Sarkisian said via The News Tribune. "So he's going to be out quite some time. Obviously our thoughts and prayers are with Kasen. He's a great kid. He's already home. I know the guys are all headed over there to see him."

Williams earned honorable mention all-conference honors in 2012, and has 29 catches for 421 yards and a touchdown this season. The junior has been a contributor to the offense since his freshman year, and his injury will likely result in more targets for Kevin Smith and surging sophomore Jaydon Mickens.
