Clemson's marching band did a Nintendo tribute halftime show

By Chip Patterson | College Football/Basketball Writer

Clemson 's marching band is raising the bar for halftime performances, challenging Ohio State for fan favorite of the year with this tribute to classic Nintendo games.

At halftime of the Tigers' win against Georgia Tech, the band begins the performance in the shape of a classic NES controller and shifts to form the shape of characters from Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda.

We're not sure how this slipped through the cracks over the weekend, but it's better late than never when it comes to awesome Nintendo tributes from marching bands.
