UCLA has been playing without starting offensive tackle Torian White in the lineup due to injury, but his status with the team has been jeopardized after an arrest on Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, White was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault at 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Bruins head coach Jim Mora issued a statement on Tuesday indicating that White has been suspended indefinitely as a result of the charge.

"We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously," Mora said. "Torian has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process and student discipline process run their course. Due to the ongoing police investigation, we are unable to discuss this matter further at this time."

White has not played since suffering a broken bone and torn ligament in his right leg against Utah in the Bruins 34-27 win on Oct. 3.

UCLA hosts Arizona State on Saturday in a game with massive Pac-12 South title implications. The Sun Devils sit alone in first place of the division, but a UCLA win would give both teams 6-2 records in conference play and set up an opportunity for the Bruins to clinch a Pac-12 title game bid at USC in the regular season finale.
