The rivalry between Auburn and Alabama has always been a fun addition to the superpower status of AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb's relationship. But with so much on the line in this year's Iron Bowl, Webb, an Auburn graduate, is feeling nervous about cheering for the Tide in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

It has been decades since both teams had this much on the line heading into the annual regular season finale. Alabama is in pursuit of its third-straight BCS title and Auburn is hoping to prevent that with a win to claim the SEC West crown and an invitation to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. Webb recently discussed the rivalry with USA Today Sports, discussing McCarron's preparation and her expectations for Saturday.

According to Webb, she never attended the Iron Bowl as an Auburn student; choosing to sell her student ticket because she "was running low on cash."

"This is the first actual game, Iron Bowl, that I will be attending," Webb told USA Today Sports. "I don't know what to expect and I'm really nervous."

Webb clarified that she is not nervous about the Auburn fans, but instead nervous about the outcome with so much on the line for McCarron.

"Honestly, I don't know what to expect," Webb said. "AJ just in his protective nature, we talked about it [Wednesday] night. And he was like, 'I'm concerned. I don't know what the fans are gonna do.' And I'm like, 'It's OK. I'll be sweet, genuine and nice like I always am if anything were to happen.'

"Even in my experience at Auburn, it's been very, very rare to see fans that have been rude or anything like that."
