Urban Meyer said Sunday that he will not suspend the two Buckeye players ejected after a first-half brawl during Ohio State's 42-41 win over Michigan Saturday -- potentially making them available for Saturday's BCS do-or-die Big Ten Championship Game against Michigan State.

Starting offensive lineman Marcus Hall and running back Dontre Wilson could still face punishment from the Big Ten for their roles in the melee, with Meyer still due to speak with Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith and league officials regarding the incident, the Associated Press reported.

Per the AP, a Big Ten spokesman said Saturday that the conference would have to review video of the fight before making any decisions. The Big Ten has stepped in before to suspend players allowed to play by their coaches, with the 2011 decision against Michigan State defensive end William Gholston the most notable example.

Hall might be in the greater danger of the two, having raised an extended pair of middle fingers to the Michigan crowd on his way off the field following his ejection.

Both players are integral part of the Buckeye offense, with Hall a redshirt senior starter at guard and Wilson a key all-purpose contributor with more than 200 yards both rushing and receiving. Given the strength of the No. 1-ranked Michigan State defense, there's little doubt that Meyer will greatly prefer to have all his offensive hands on deck.
