The Walter Camp Player of the Year Award has named its five finalists for the 2013 honor, and anyone who's paid attention to the Heisman Trophy race won't find the names unfamiliar.

Quarterbacks Jameis Winston of Florida State , Jordan Lynch of Northern Illinois , Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M and AJ McCarron of Alabama all made the cut from the award's list of 15 semifinalists, along with Boston College running back Andre Williams.

The Walter Camp Player of the Year Award is given to the best player in college football, as voted on by FBS head coaches and sports information directors. The winner will be announced Dec. 12 on ESPN.

Manti Teo won the 2012 award.
