Cincinnati accepts bid to Belk Bowl

Cincinnati accepts bid to Belk Bowl

By Tom Fornelli | Staff Writer

Cincinnati missed out on its chance to claim a share of the American Athletic Conference title when it lost to Louisville in overtime on Thursday night, but at least it will be able to buy khakis at reasonable prices.

On Friday coach Tommy Tuberville confirmed via Twitter that his Bearcats would be going to the Belk Bowl.

Whom the Bearcats will be playing hasn't been confirmed as of yet, but our own Jerry Palm projects that it will be North Carolina opposing them.

This is the second straight season that Cincinnati will appear in the Belk Bowl, as it beat Duke 48-34 in last year's game.
