Gus Malzahn and David Cutcliffe, finalists for several national coach of the year awards, headline the group of 10 finalists named for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award.

Unlike some other national coaching honors, the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year gives 20 percent of the vote to the fans, via CoachOfTheYear.com. The group of finalists does include several of the names from other coaching awards, but does not inclue Florida State's Jimbo Fisher or Missouri's Gary Pinkel.

In total, fans and voters must decide between 10 coaches before Dec. 22.

Art Briles, Baylor

David Cutcliffe, Duke

Mark Dantonio, Michigan State

Todd Graham, Arizona State

Gus Malzahn, Auburn

Urban Meyer, Ohio State

Jim Mora, UCLA

Bill O'Brien, Penn State

Nick Saban, Alabama

Dabo Swinney, Clemson

One notable finalist from the other divisions is North Dakota State coach Craig Bohl. Bohl was recently hired as the next Wyoming head coach but will continue coaching the undefeated Bison in the FCS playoffs before beginning his duties with the Cowboys.
