Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy got an opportunity to play this season thanks to injuries, and now Murphy will look for an opportunity to play elsewhere next season.

Florida announced on Sunday that the quarterback was transferring from the school. Murphy graduated from Florida on Saturday.

Murphy started six games for the Gators this season, replacing Jeff Driskel who was lost for the season against Tennessee. He would miss Florida's final three games of the season after suffering an injury of his own.

In seven games Murphy threw for 1,216 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions while also rushing for three touchdowns.

There is no word on where Murphy will transfer to.
