Notre Dame's football program will join the ACC as a partial member in 2014, joining Louisville as the final pieces to the league's conference realignment. The Fighting Irish are already competing as ACC members in other sports, but next season will be the first year of the scheduling agreement which will feature five games against ACC opponents each season.

Due to a scheduling complication, Notre Dame will only play four ACC opponents in 2014 but make that up with six "conference games" in 2015 -- headlined by a date against Boston College in Fenway Park on Nov. 21, 2015.

Sept. 27 -- at Syracuse (MetLife Stadium)

Oct. 11 -- North Carolina

Oct. 18 -- at Florida State

Nov. 22 -- Louisville

Sept. 12 -- at Virginia

Sept. 19 -- Georgia Tech

Oct. 3 -- at Clemson

Nov. 7 -- at Pitt

Nov. 14 -- Wake Forest

Nov. 21 -- Boston College (Fenway Park)

Sept. 24 -- Duke

Oct. 1 -- at Syracuse (MetLife Stadium)

Oct. 8 -- at NC State

Oct. 29 -- Miami

Nov. 19 --Virginia Tech

Notre Dame will have access to the ACC's bowl ties, but will not be eligible to compete for a conference title or have a spot in the Atlantic or Coastal divisions. The school describes the scheduling approach as a 6-5-1 model.
