At halftime, South Carolina trailed Wisconsin 14-13 in the Capital One Bowl, but it wasn't for any lack of gumption on the Gamecocks' part. (Actually, it was somewhat for an overabundance of gumption; a fake on an extra point try fell short.)
Take Carolina's second touchdown, which came on this incredibly well-executed trick play, with wide receiver Bruce Ellington throwing back to quarterback Connor Shaw:
