Class Snapshot: Clemson (19 commits)

Current Class Rank: No. 14 nationally, No. 3 Atlantic Coast Conference (0.8862 average 247Sports Composite Rating)

Top Commit: Quarterback DeShaun Watson (Gainesville, Ga.) No. 1 dual-threat quarterback prospect nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Already enrolled at Clemson. State of Georgia's all-time leading passer.

Class Strength: Clemson has one of the top receiver classes in the country, which is no surprise considering the numbers that offensive coordinator Chad Morris' system has been able to produce during his three seasons in Tiger Town. Artavis Scott (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake) and Demarre Kitt (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek) were both U.S. Army All-Americans and are already enrolled at Clemson. Kyrin Priester (Fork Union, Va./Fork Union Military) is enrolled as well after spending a semester at prep school. He signed with Clemson out of Brookwood High in Snellville, Ga. in the 2013 class originally. Four-star Trevion Thompson (Durham, N.C./Hillside) recently committed to the Tigers as well. He is a taller, athletic receiver who outside of Scott may be the best receiver prospect in the class. Clemson is re-loading here as this group will join promising rising sophomore Mike Williams and Germone Hopper in the receiving corps. Watson is going to have plenty of weapons to target.

Sleeper: Linebacker Jalen Williams (Blythewood, S.C.) is a player that impressed the Clemson coaching staff during summer camp. The 5-foot-11, 225-pound Williams moves well and had an excellent senior season.

Top Remaining Target: Defensive end Andrew Williams (McDonough, Ga./Eagles Landing Christian) is a 6-foot-4, 247-pound, athletic prospect at that position who the Tigers would love to get in the fold. He officially visits Clemson on Jan. 31, so the Tigers get the last crack at him. Currently, Auburn is the team to beat, garnering 83 percent of the predictions on 247Sports Crystal Ball, which measures prediction trends from recruiting analysts across the country.

Remaining Needs: On paper at least, Clemson needs help at running back. While he won't count in terms of recruiting rankings, one possibility is Alabama transfer Alvin Kamara, who would bring the big-play ability of a C.J. Spiller or Andre Ellington to the Tigers' roster as soon as 2015.

Top Recruiter: Wide receivers coach Jeff Scott is the primary recruiter of record for Artavis Scott, Kitt and four-star tight end Milan Richard and was the secondary recruiter for Thompson. Jeff Scott ranks No. 5 in the 247Sports ACC recruiter rankings for this cycle and No. 29 nationally. The son of former Florida State offensive coordinator, South Carolina head coach and long-time Clemson assistant Brad Scott has long had a great reputation for being an outstanding recruiter, just like his father did.
