TCU defensive end Devonte Fields will not be pressing charges against the three men who attacked and robbed him at his home on Tuesday.

According to the police report, Fields had gone outside to start his car early Tuesday morning, and was attacked by three individuals upon returning to his door. Fields was hit on the back of his head by a pistol and pushed into his home. While inside two individuals assaulted Fields while a third individual stole a cellphone, an X-Box and some clothes from Fields' home.

The struggle did not end there, as it continued out onto the driveway where one of the suspects pointed a gun at Fields and threatened to kill him. Fields then grabbed the gunman's arm and five shots were fired into the air.

Fields originally consented to allowing police to search his home but changed his mind before telling the police that he didn't want to press charges.

Fields was the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, but played in only three games for the Horned Frogs last season due to injuries.
