By Chip Patterson | College Football/Basketball Writer

Thanks to some high-profile commitments in the 11th hour, Oklahoma has jumped Texas and claimed the top spot in the Big 12 according to 247Sports' Team Rankings. Sooners coach Bob Stoops joined Signing Day Live on CBSSports.com to discuss the class, and how the signing day commitment of four-star athlete Michiah Quick unfolded.

Quick joined five-star running back Joe Mixon and four-star safety Steven Parker to headline the class. In the video above, you'll hear Stoops discuss how he imagines Quick might be used in the offense and what Mixon can bring in his first year on campus.

Stoops also told CBSSports.com that quarterback Blake Bell will stay in the program and begin working out at tight end.
