Washington has announced the indefinite suspensions of quarterback Cyler Miles and wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow for violating team rules. What those rules are, the school did not say.

It should be pointed out, however, that Seattle television station KIRO reported that Stringfellow and another player were involved in an altercation following the Super Bowl on Sunday. According to the police report the station obtained, the two players allegedly assaulted a man with "multiple punches" to the "left eye, chin and cheek" before taking off in a car.

Seattle police would not confirm the identy of either player.

Miles is expected to take over as Washington's starting quarterback next season, as he served as Keith Price's backup in 2013. Miles appeared in eight games for the Huskies last season, throwing for 418 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 200 yards. Stringfellow caught 20 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown.
