Munchie Legaux's college football career is not over yet, as Cincinnati announced that its quarterback has been granted an extra year of eligibility by the American Athletic Conference.

Legaux opened the 2013 season, his senior year, as Cincinnati's starting quarterback but suffered a season-ending injury during the Bearcats second game of the season against Illinois on Sept. 7. Legaux injured several ligaments in his left knee after being tackled.

Legaux has played in 31 games for Cincinnati, throwing for 2,847 yards and 20 touchdowns while also rushing for 627 yards and seven more touchdowns.

Cincinnati also announced that wide receiver Shaq Washington has been granted an extra year of eligibility as well. Washington played in only four games during his freshman season of 2011. In 2013 he led the Bearcats with 78 receptions.
