MORE: Nkemdiche brothers reportedly facing lawsuit

It appears that Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche might have had too good of a time celebrating his 21st birthday over the weekend.

The Clarion Ledger reports Nkemdiche was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and failure to comply with a police officer late Saturday night. All three charges are misdemeanors.

The arrest occurred at an apartment complex in Oxford that is largely occupied by Ole Miss students.

Nkemdiche burst onto the scene in 2012 as a redshirt freshman, being named a freshman All-American and All-SEC that season after finishing the year with 82 tackles, 13 for loss, three interceptions, three sacks and four forced fumbles. He dealt with injuries in 2013, playing in only ten games and finishing with 35 tackles.

Ole Miss linebacker Sederius Bryant also ran into legal trouble over the weekend, getting cited for public drunkenness and disturbing the peace early Saturday morning.

In a statement on Monday, Rebels coach Hugh Freeze said that both Nkemdiche and Bryant have been suspended "until we know more."
