Washington quarterback Cyler Miles will not be charged in connection with an incident that occurred after the Super Bowl in Seattle, Miles' attorney told the Associated Press.

Head coach Chris Petersen suspended Miles and wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow indefinitely for a violation of team rules in early February, but the school never confirmed their alleged connections with assaults that occurred during a celebration of the Seahawks' victory.

According to The Seattle Times, Stringfellow will be charged with three misdemeanors; two counts of misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree and one count of malicious mischief. The report also indicated that Miles would not be charged in the incident.

Washington resumed spring practice on Tuesday morning without Miles and Stringfellow, as both remain suspended officially. According to The Seattle Times, the charges against Stringfellow are "likely to be filed by Thursday."

Miles, the heir apparent to Keith Price as the Huskies' starting quarterback, appeared in eight games as a redshirt freshman last season and started at Oregon State. Against the Beavers, Miles completed 15-of-24 passes for 162 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions. Coming out of high school in Centennial, Colo., 247Sports ranked Miles as a four-star prospect and the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in his class.

Redshirt sophomore Jeff Lindquist and redshirt freshman Troy Williams will be the only scholarship quarterbacks in spring practice as long as Miles is on the sideline.
