Michigan offensive lineman Graham Glasgow had been suspended by coach Brady Hoke for parts of spring practice, as well as Michigan's season-opener against Appalachian State, and it seems now we know why.

Glasgow is scheduled to be arraigned before an Ann Arbor judge on May 19 and will be charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Glasgow allegedly committed the offense on March 15.

The violation carries a maximum sentence of 93 days in jail, as well as a possible $500 fine and 360 hours of community service.

Glasgow started all 13 games for Michigan in 2013, starting at both the center and left guard positions. In practice this spring he'd been working at center, guard and tackle, though he's expected to retain his job at center.
