VIDEO: Kaiden Schroeder runs for a TD during Kansas State spring game

By Tom Fornelli | College Football Writer

Eight-year old Kaiden Schroeder is a huge Kansas State football fan, and on Saturday afternoon he got to experience one of his dreams: scoring a touchdown for the Wildcats.

Kaiden, who was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia in 2009, became friends with Kansas State linebacker Ryan Mueller after Mueller visited him in the hospital. He attended his first Kansas State game last November.

"Kaiden loves Ryan," Jenny Schreoder, Kaiden's mom, told KStateSports.com. "It is so fun to watch Kaiden watch the football games on TV knowing that he knows somebody. We've always watched the games, but when you know somebody, it's just so different for him."

I bet playing alongside them is even more fun.
