Bahamas Bowl will be played Christmas Eve

By Tom Fornelli | College Football Writer

Good news for those of you who hate spending time with family and friends during the holidays, as there is yet another bowl game you'll be able to watch on Christmas Eve.

Yes, for years you've only had the Hawaii Bowl available to you during the evening on Christmas Eve, but that will change this year as another bowl game played in a tropical location has shown up to help fill your afternoon.

The Bahamas Bowl announced that its first game, which will feature a team from Conference USA as well as the MAC, will kick off at noon Eastern on Christmas Eve.

So while you're at home and stuck indoors thanks to the winter weather, you'll be able to watch people playing football in warm weather all day. Maybe it will melt your icy heart and cause you to pay attention to your family, or maybe you'll just sit there watching football all day. I'm not here to judge.

The game will be played at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau. It will be sunny.
