Rich Rodriguez will have some extra spending cash on him next time you see him.

According to the Arizona Republic, Rodriguez has received a contract extension and a raise at Arizona. Doug Haller reports that Rodriguez's contract has been extended two years and now runs through May 31, 2019. He'll also receive a bump in his base salary from $1.33 million to $1.5 million, with an additional $100,000 added each year of the deal, reaching it's apex at $1.9 million in the final year.

Rodriguez will also make $500,000 a year for radio and television appearances.

In his first two seasons at Arizona Rodriguez has gone 16-10 with two bowl wins, and his Wildcats have gone 8-10 in Pac-12 play, finishing fourth in the Pac-12's South Division each season.
