Oh man, is there anything more exciting than branding? Everybody has to have a brand these days, so if you don't have one, you better get your butt to the brand store and get one. Burn that thing on and show it off.
Anyway, that's the new ACC logo...I'm sorry, brand. That's the new ACC brand. A brand and a logo are two totally different things. One is a photo or design of something that represents your product, and the other is a photo or design of something that represents your product.
Here's what ACC commissioner John Swofford has to say about this exciting new brand.
“The ACC is well-positioned for many future successes and we are pleased with our new branding that reflects our limitless potential,” said Swofford. “The new, contemporary look modernizes and energizes the ACC mark, and, at the same time, still reflects the league's history and rich tradition.”
If the history and rich tradition of the ACC is an airline, then I agree with Swofford, because honestly, that's what I see when I look at it. I see an airline logo. I mean, brand!
Darn it, I'll figure it out eventually, I swear.
