LSU freshman defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao reportedly suffered a serious arm injury after punching a window in the weight room on Monday, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.

School spokesman Michael Bonnette would only confirm that Lealaimatafao, a 6-foot, 301-pound three-star prospect from San Antonio, was being treated at a local hospital after an incident. Citing multiple sources, The Advocate is reporting that Lealaimatafao's injuries came from a dispute with a teammate.

via The Advocate:

Lealaimatafao, a 6-foot, 300-pound three-star defensive tackle signee from Texas, punched through a glass window in the LSU weight room Monday, tearing muscles down to the bone, a source said.

Lealaimatafao punched through the window after a dispute with another football player, two independent sources said.

The paper went on to add that while the injury is not expected to be "career or life threatning," it could jeopardize Lealaimatafao's opportunity to compete for playing time along the defensive line in 2014.
