Well here's some good news for the copy editors of outlets covering LSU football, but bad news for the Tigers:
Trey Lealaimatafao will "probably not" play this season after arm injury, Miles says. #LSU— Ross Dellenger (@DellengerAdv) July 30, 2014
No, I did not just embed that tweet to keep from having to spell Lealaimatafao, why would you think such a thing?
Lealaimatafao suffered the injury to his arm on Monday when he punched through a glass window in the team's weight room. He had to be hospitalized due to the injury, as witnesses said his arm was hurt so badly that the glass "tore through" his bicep and you could see bone. So I find it hard to disagree with Les Miles' assessment that Lealaimatafao will probably miss the entire season.
It's been an interesting few weeks for the three-star defensive lineman out of San Antonio. Lealaimatafao was a member of LSU's 2014 recruiting class, and since arriving on campus he's had the window-punching incident, and he was cited last week on a misdemeanor bicycle theft charge.
Something tells me if he continues at this rate it won't be an arm injury that keeps him from playing for LSU.
