Alabama held its annual fan session on Sunday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, so naturally, hundreds of middle-aged Alabama fans waited anxiously to secure autographs from Nick Saban and some of the team's stars.
There's something very wrong with middle-aged men sprinting, yes, sprinting 100 yards across the field to gain a signature from a teenager (or even Saban, for that matter). Props to those Tide fans who chose to casually stroll across the field, but you know they wanted to take off with the rest of them.
One all-time fan, Bobby Hunter, camped out five days ahead of the fanfest to ensure he'd be the first to get Saban's signature. That's 103 hours of waiting ... for Saban's autograph ... an autograph that he already has seven times over. He's also the same fan who once had Saban sign his five-week old baby's onesie.
Some people, man.
