Pizzeria offers 'penny-a-point' deal 'when' Arkansas beats Auburn

Well, you have to give Fayetteville's Eureka Pizza points for creativity, and for confidence. Now: can Arkansas give itself enough points for it to matter?

Via Fayetteville TV station KNWA, Eureka Pizza has announced a promotion where a Razorback victory Saturday at Auburn would result in customers getting a large pizza for the price in cents of Arkansas's point total -- viz. a 32-27 win would result in 32-cent pizzas.

And for backing a team that comes in off a winless SEC season and as 20.5-point underdogs, Eureka's enjoyably bold -- note the "when" -- about the success of its promotion ...

Say this for Eureka: after some of the previous bad blood between Bret Bielema and Gus Malzahn, if there was a team Bielema would go to some extra lengths to "run up the score" against, it might be the Tigers. Now, about actually going out and doing it ...
