LOOK: UCF will wear a special helmet for Ireland game vs. Penn State

By Chip Patterson | College Football/Basketball Writer

After dodging a volcanic threat on the way across the pond, UCF and Penn State have settled into a schedule in Dublin as we await the Saturday morning matchup in the Croke Park Classic.

UCF revealed the helmets that the Knights will wear for the game on Friday morning; an Irish spin on their normal white helmets.

The four-leaf clover and gold coins just scratch the surface of UCF's full cultural immersion. With Irish-born placekicker Sean Galvin leading the way, the school has been documenting the team's activities while in Dublin.

Remember to set your alarms early for the game, which is set to kick off at 8:30 a.m. ET. It should provide quality morning entertainment, with Vegas giving a slight edge to UCF in what is projected to be less than a field goal game.
