The new college football polls were released Tuesday, and after five days of action the landscape has been reset with actual results in mind. The polls won't figure into the chase for the College Football Playoff, at least not officially, but it is the most tangible ranking we have until the selection committee begins releasing its list in October.

The AP poll has no changes in the top four spots, but Auburn has moved up one to No. 5 and Georgia has jumped six spots to No. 6. Texas A&M was the biggest riser in the AP poll moving up 12 spots to No. 9 while South Carolina dropped 12 spots to No. 21.

The coaches poll shows a first-place vote for Georgia as the Bulldogs move into the top 10 following a 45-21 win against Clemson on Saturday. The Tigers, along with South Carolina and Wisconsin, remained in the Top 25 despite suffering opening weekend losses.
