BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -Joe Craddock threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns as Middle Tennessee State defeated Western Kentucky 21-10 on Saturday.

Phillip Tanner rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, helping Middle Tennessee (4-6) to 313 total yards. Sancho McDonald had four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Western Kentucky (2-9) was paced by Jake Gaebler's season-high 125 yards receiving and a touchdown. David Wolke went 18 of 30 for 213 yards and a touchdown. Marell Booker led the Hilltoppers with 53 yards on 11 carries.

The Blue Raiders led throughout, taking a 7-0 lead five minutes into the game on Craddock's 9-yard touchdown pass to Malcolm Beyah.

The game looked to be headed for a tight finish after Western Kentucky recovered a fumble at Middle Tennessee's 45-yard line early in the fourth quarter.

The Hilltoppers drove to the Blue Raiders' 35-yard line before losing a fumble.
