David Kamara lands at Clemson
"It's like a big family at Clemson," Kamara told TigerIllustrated.com. "They'll hold you accountable. I like the players there. They'll help make me a better person and to not give up."
The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder held offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Illinois among others but had been leaning toward Clemson for a while. Kamara is very good friends with top recruit Robert Nkemdiche and will quickly get to work on bringing him into the fold.
"I don't know yet with him," Kamara said. "We'll have to work on him."
Kamara is the seventh commitment for the class of 2013 and second to pledge on Wednesday after 2014 running back Dalvin Cook. Last season as a junior, Kamara had 53 tackles and four interceptions.
