The 6-foot, 175-pound signal-caller picked the program over offers from Texas Tech, Mississippi State and Nebraska among others. He was scheduled to announce his college choice later in July but just couldn't pass up the opportunity once he knew where he was headed.
A dual-threat quarterback, Kincade was named MVP of the Dallas Elite 11 Regional earlier in the year and earned a ticket to the Finals in Southern California next week to compete against some of the top passers in the country. He is coming off a junior campaign that saw him throw for 3,270 yards and 37 touchdowns during last year.
Kincade becomes the second quarterback for Ole Miss during this recruiting cycle, joining Jackson (Miss.) signal-caller Ryan Buchanan in the Class of 2013. The latest pledge gives the Rebels 14 total commitments for next year as well.
MaxPreps ranks Kincade as the 18th dual-threat quarterback in 2013.
