Texas A&M picks up another after defensive end Jordan Points commits

Texas A&M picked up a second 2013 commit in 24 hours after Rockwall (Texas) defensive end Jordan Points made his commitment official on Thursday morning.

"I just talked with my family, some of my coaches, and people close to me, and late last night I pretty much decided. I just wanted to sleep on it," Points told GigEm247.com. "I woke up this morning and it felt right. Being in the SEC and playing with all the big dogs, I mean, I want to prove I'm the best so that's where I need to go to prove it."

The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder will join his high school teammate, Jay Arnold, along the defensive line for the Aggies next fall.

"It's going to be pretty awesome to play together at A&M," Points said. "We talked about it all night and we've been texting all morning. I think we're going to do big things at A&M. The bash brothers are coming."

The pledge by Points gives A&M 17 commitments for the class of 2013, among the most in the country.
